Who we are.

The Interfaith Center (TIC) at Miami University is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to unify people through relationship-building, dialogue, and social action, bringing people together across differing opinions to focus on shared values for social change.
TIC has a distinguished history dating back to 1918 when it was the Wesley Foundation. In 1967, several ecumenical groups joined the Wesley to form United Campus Ministry, and in 1989 they became The Campus Ministry Center. In 2014, the board voted to change the name and mission of the organization to become The Interfaith Center, which continues to develop an integrated approach to serving the spiritual needs of Miami University's campus and beyond.
